Investigates the basic reasons for using graphics on a web page and explores the various types of usage. Prerequisite: VC 130 or equivalent experience. VC 138 PhotoShop for the Web 2 1 class and 2 lab hr/wk, 2 cr. Further develops the techniques and skills needed to create, edit, save, and post complex images on the World Wide Web. Prerequisite: VC 137 or consent of instructor. VC 139 Beginning Vector Graphics 1 class and 2 lab hrs/wk, 2 cr. Introduces the use of vector graphic software for graphic arts. Prerequisite: Previous computer experience.
